Dermapure Roller System – Dermarolling

What Is Pure Rolling?

The Pure Roller system is a natural way to improve the appearance of your skin and reverse the signs of Ageing. Scarring, Moderate Wrinkles, Stretch Marks, Age Spots and Mild Pigmentation can all be successfully treated. The Pure Roller uses 200 very fine needles designed to achieve a “controlled injury” to the skin without damage. The needles create micro-channels into the deeper skin layers resulting in increased absorption of active ingredients into the skin. Regular treatments result in a firmer, smoother and youthful skin.

How Does It Work?

The principle behind Pure Rolling is stimulating cell renewal and new collagen, without damaging the epidermis.

The very fine Titanium needles cause a “controlled injury” to the skin.

As the skin repairs itself, new collagen is deposited in the papillary dermis resulting in the Retes ridges plumping from underneath, to smooth out wrinkles, fine lines and indented scars.

The skins strength, collagen and elastin are improved for a rejuvenated, smooth and youthful complexion.

Advantages of Dermarolling

  • Non ablative

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning

What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). The procedure can be performed monthly, in less than thirty minutes, with no downtime post-treatment. Dermaplaning is only performed on the face; however, it is not meant to be used to shape eyebrows, which are made up of “terminal” (not vellus) hairs.

Benefits of dermaplaning

Physical exfoliation triggers the cell regeneration process and allows products to better penetrate the skin. Some practitioners perform a chemical peel post-dermaplaning (we wouldn’t recommend this if you have highly sensitive skin). Dermaplaning is also excellent to rid the face of excess fine hairs which can often accumulate dirt and oil. Contrary to popular belief, vellus hairs, as opposed to terminal hair, will not grow back thicker or darker. However, dermaplaning is not suitable for those with excessive facial hair. Microdermabrasion, which also physically exfoliates the skin, does not remove vellus hair. Exfoliation of dead cells along with the removal of fine hairs results in healthier, brighter skin that has a smoother look and feel.

Dermaplaning – FAQs

Q – Will I feel any pain during my treatment
A – Dermaplaning is a very relaxing treatment.

Q – How often can I have Dermaplaning?
A – Most people choose to have Dermaplaning once a month as part of their skincare routine.

Q – Can I have Dermaplaning if I have sensitive skin?
A – Dermaplaning is recommended for all skin types except those with active breakouts and men with heavy facial hair. If you have active acne, we can offer alternative treatments that would be more beneficial. As always discuss any allergies or skin sensitivities before starting a treatment.

Advanced Nutrition

Advanced Nutrition

The Advanced Nutrition Programme™ is a premium range of supplements which support healthy skin and helps enhance your overall wellbeing. Using only the highest quality ingredients which your body can easily absorb, the range covers skincare, health, vitality and anti-ageing as well as areas of well-being that encompass weight loss, food intolerance, digestion, bone and joint support.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip abrasive wand to remove the skin’s outermost layers of dead cells. The handset then uses a mild suction to draw away the skin debris to reveal your new and improved complexion.

Microdermabrasion is chemical free and non-invasive yet achieves amazing results revealing younger, healthier looking skin from the very first treatment. The skin’s appearance is further improved through increased collagen & elastin production as your body produces a new layer of skin.

With each of your treatments, the intensity of the facial microdermabrasion can be increased – reaching to deeper layers and successfully removing acne scarring, lifting pigmentation and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles

What does Microdermabrasion Treat?

  • Lighten Acne Scars & Marks
  • Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles
  • Improves Ageing Skin
  • Brightens Dull & Tired Skin
  • Improves Uneven Skin Tone & Lightens Stretch Marks
  • Reduces Pigmentation & Blemishes

Benefits of Microdermabrasion

As a non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation, microdermabrasion is quick, convenient and painless, immediately restoring younger, smoother looking skin without the need for chemicals, lasers or injectables.

The huge number of benefits is what makes microdermabrasion such a popular treatment.

Microdermabrasion is suitable for all skin types, and your therapist will assess your skin before advising on the number of treatments you will need. There is no down time with this treatment.

Microdermabrasion FAQs

Q – How often would you recommend someone have microdermabrasion treatments?
A – Microdermabrasion can be done once a week to once a month but it all depends on the person’s goals and where their skin health is. If you have pigmentation, scarring or other skin conditions, more treatments will be necessary. Microdermabrasion encourages the skin cycle of exfoliating dead skin cells and stimulating collagen to allow new skin to grow.

Q – How should someone care for his or her skin after a microdermabrasion treatment?
A – Light moisturizer like hyaluronic acid and follow up with a high broad-spectrum SPF. Protecting your skin is the most important. You should keep the skin hydrated but not overdo it. By applying a thick moisturizer post-treatment, you are inhibiting the skin from doing what it needs to do—exfoliate. Applying a thick moisturizer post-treatment is like gluing the dead skin onto your face. Additionally, because your skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure, you should be careful with retinol products for a few days—as retinol is very sensitive to light.

Microneedling

Micro-needling is a revolutionary treatment that smooths out wrinkles, helps erase scars, skin lesions and stretch marks for that perfect, bright complexion? Micro-needling tightens, lifts and rejuvenates your skin to give a natural and youthful complexion.

How it works

Over time collagen, a natural substance present in our bodies decreases. Collagen is what keeps our skin smooth, plump and youthful. A decrease in production equals fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling uses vertical insertions to create tiny punctures in the skin’s surface.

What makes Micro-Needling Different?

Microneedling uses a specialised, automatic spring-loaded wand which delivers fast, easy and essentially painless treatments for the individual. This technology ensures the highest quality treatment with minimal damage, downtime and discomfort, while its adjustable speed and depth customise each procedure for specifically targeted results.

Micro-needling FAQ’s

Q.- Is this treatment safe?
A. – Microneedling treatments are performed by a trained and qualified therapist who will execute the treatment under a safe and sterile environment. All treatment consumables are single-use and sterile.

Q – How long does the procedure last?
A – Full face should take a maximum of an hour to complete. Body areas can take longer depending on the size and condition of the skin

Q – Is the treatment painful?
A – There may be some discomfort during this treatment and most likely bleeding will occur. Your therapist will set the needle depth and speed to your comfort level.

Q – Are there any side effects?
A – In the first 48 hours after treatment, you may experience redness, swelling and itching. However, a cooling mask is used straight after treatment to help calm and soothe the area.

Q – What is the downtime for Microneedling?
A – Erythema may last up to a maximum of 2 days post-treatment. However, most clients can resume daily activities immediately after Microneedling. If there is any visible redness, makeup may be used 24 hours after the treatment to reduce this.

Q – How soon will I see results?
A – Results after the procedure should be seen immediately after just one treatment. However, depending on the individual, skin condition and area being treated multiple sessions are recommended in order to achieve the full desired effect. The regenerating process should continue up to 24 months after treatment.

mesotherapy

Meso Therapy

Meso Therapy is an alternative to microneedling. Rather than stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, it uses a series of micro-injections to add pharmaceutical and homeopathic preparations, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into the subcutaneous fat and is particularly beneficial for dehydrated, dull, puffy or saggy skin.

We offer a single treatment or a course of 6 treatments for enhanced results.
